Business Start-Up Support

We are able to offer Business start up and Enterprise training to NVQ level 3 – accredited with OCR (we are an OCR Accredited Training centre).

This is for people who are in employment or are actively setting up their own business/ becoming self employed. We draw on our 13 years experience in delivering successful support to people wishing to set up in business or become self employed using SFEDI accredited business advisors with a long track record of success in helping set up, develop and expand small and medium enterprises and sole traders.

We have the required Matrix and Customer First quality accreditation. We have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs successfully start up in business, many obtaining relevant NVQs in Business Start Up.

We have also been able to help them develop business plans and introduce them to both High street banks and sources of social business funds such as Prime loans. In addition in the past we helped over 1100 small and medium enterprises develop and expand their businesses through our million pound ERDF/ GOL government funded programme Enterprising East End.  For further details of our NVQ training please visit our Training page.

Business start up support for people made redundant

We are also able to draw on the above expertise and experience to help those in danger of redundancy or having been made redundant in the last 6 months through our Redundancy and Re-employment programme.

For eligible clients (who live or work in south London) we are able to offer, in addition to our initial 30 hour employability and career development support programme, a special 30 hour Business Start up support programme – which is aimed specifically at those wishing to become self employed or set up in business after being made redundant. Social Enterprise and CVS Start up and Development Support

As part of our Business start up and development support we have considerable specialist expertise in providing marketing, research, business and financial planning support to CVS organisations and social enterprises – with customised support programmes and templates geared to the particular needs of the not for profit sector – drawing on the expertise of our director who was the founder of the Charted Institute of Marketing’s Not for Profit training and certificate programme.
