Redundancy To Re-employment Life Long Learning Centre Promoting Age Diversity PEOPLE – EU Over 50s Network	Wise Owls Redundancy to Re-Employment project is designed to support people who have been made redundant or unemployed in the past 6 months. For more information download the R2R leaflet It is for people who live in he following South London boroughs: Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, Croydon, Sutton, Greenwich and Merton. People who will shortly be made redundant can also receive help from us as long as you have written evidence to demonstrate your forthcoming redundancy. Register Eligibility R2R events Our support consists of: Advice and guidance leading to an agreed customised employment and training support programme. As part of our initial programme of support we’ll talk to you about your strengths and weaknesses, the work you’ve done in the past, the things that you’re good at and that you enjoyed doing and what sorts of work you would be interested in getting into. Immediate and active vacancy research and job matching by skilled and experienced professionals. Employability training that will ensure that you can make the most of your skills and abilities in order to get you back into work as quickly as possible. This will be a chance to get your CV reviewed, help you with interview techniques, discuss the best way of finding work in your field, examine the techniques needed for the different types of job applications and make sure you stay confident and motivated. We can help you understand your transferable skills and then utilise them. Further specialist and vocational training, as required, which could lead to qualifications. The training options available are: Generic skills: Customer Service, Work skills, Retail, Sales, MS Office. Sector Skills: Hospitality, Charity, Food. Enterprise skills: Marketing for micro businesses, Intro to social enterprise start-up, Intro to business start-up, Business Planning. Confidence-building & assertiveness skill, Age Diversity in the workplace, Personal Development, Health & Safety +/- L2 Certificate, Food Hygiene + /- Certificate, Money Management/Financial Literacy. Please remember, this is aimed at getting you into work as quickly as possible so we will be in regular contact with you to make sure that you are supported in all your efforts to get back into work through our website, jobs bulletins, group and 121 support and job matching. Wise Owls Redundancy to Re-Employment project is part of the SFA / DWP Skills Support for Redundancy programme which has been contracted to our partnership company Skills and Development Alliance to deliver in South London 2011 – 2013.
