Wise Owls run multiple projects which are predominantly in Employment and Training. Our core work is the support of Over 50s in an Age Diverse workforce, however other programmes we run are open to all ages. The list below represents the current projects we are running.

Project Project Summary

Experience Works is an exciting programme of individualised support to help mature unemployed Londoners find work, take up training or start a business.


Wise Owls Redundancy to Re-Employment project is designed to support people who have been made redundant or unemployed in the past 6 months. It is for people who live in he following South London boroughs: Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, Croydon, Sutton, Greenwich and Merton.


Promoting Age Diversity (PAD) is a Wise Owls campaign funded by Trust for London to ensure that older workers are appreciated, hired and kept on by employers of all sectors as part of a commitment to age diversity in the employment of staff.


The Pan-European Older Person's Learning and Employment Network (PEOPLE) Wise Owls is the lead body who, with its partner organisations from Czech, France, Slovakia and Spain is developing a network aiming to improve matters for the 'baby-boomer' generation in part by producing a series of Best Practice guidebooks.


The Life Long Learning Centre (LLLC) is an accredited training centre who deliver vocational training in NVQ’s and Apprenticeships.
