We now run Wise Owls FORUM, which currently has 4000 members. This is our interactive discussion forum where you can read and comment on any subject that interests you such as news, pensions, campaigns, shopping, holidays. It’s all in there, waiting for your voice to be added. Join the debate and make this Forum the forum for the baby-boomers

In addition we have put up some FUN sections – one with jokes and cartoons by and about us, please send us more plus a Grumbling Owls voice for you to tell us about your experiences with providers and businesses plus express what you think about modern life

Visit our polls and vote on the issues of the month. Do you have a suggestion for a poll? Then let us know by contacting webmaster@wiseowls.co.uk

We will be producing a series of Surveys on issues as part of our ongoing Campaigns. The information is important and helps us understand in more details some of the statistics we find in our research.

We are setting up both Wise Owls Campaigns directly related to our work – like promoting age diversity and age equality audits and consequent actions, defending wages and pensions

as well as issues affecting us such as protecting us from banks and speculators - e-petitions - so please join our campaigns and/ or suggest new ones.

We will be trying to build e-petitions and e-campaigns so that we will forward your supporting emails and/ or comments to the relevant minister or decision maker.

We are becoming the progressive older working age arm of such campaigns and lobbies as 38 Degrees, Avaaz, plus play an active role in supporting and linking to campaigns around cuts to services, attacks on the NHS, privatisation of public services, redundancies aimed at older people, active ageism, attacks on the environment, on pensions, on standards of living and wages for ordinary people.
