Experience Works is an exciting programme of individualised support to help mature unemployed Londoners find work, take up training or start a business.

The overall aim of  Experience Works is to ensure that both participants and employers profit from experience.

Experience Works project is for you, if you are aged 50 and over, out of work and actively seeking a job. To be eligible for our face-to-face tailored support you must live in one of the following London boroughs: Croydon, Greenwich, Hammersmith & Fulham, Havering, Kingston upon Thames and Sutton.

Please check our diary to find out the date of the next event that is happening near to you.

If you would like to arrange an appointment with an experience works adviser please check your eligibility and call us if you have any questions on 0207 278 8553

Experience Works is delivered in partnership with Remploy – the national charity supporting people with disabilities into employment. This means that we can help you if you have a disability or health condition which may be stopping   you from finding work.

If you are eligible for support from Experience Works we will enrol you on the project and provide you with a personal adviser who will work with you on a one-to-one basis to achieve your goals.  If your aim is to return to employment or gain skills your adviser will provide you with expert careers and employment advice and guidance. You’ll get help with your CV, job search, application forms and interview techniques.

If, on the other hand your desire is to be your own boss, our accredited business adviser will support you to register self-employed, form a limited company or set-up a social enterprise. We will help you identify and research your market, write your business plan, design a marketing strategy  and complete financial forecasts.

The project is funded until 2012, with money from London Councils and the European Social Fund (ESF)
Experience Works organise employment related events in different boroughs.
