We are committed to a fair and just society, and that includes offering advertising and sponsorship opportunities only to businesses and organisations that meets our and the clients’ ethical code. We are only prepared to endorse companies, organisations, services and products that provide value for money, and honestly meet the needs of customers and clients. Our reputation for integrity working for the interest of the older working age population is such that any advertiser gains considerably from having a presence on our site and we wish to ensure this continues. Consequently our first commitment is to the clients and site visitors. Anyone wishing to complain about our own services or information can use our complaints procedure and can also use it in relation to any organisation or individual advertising on our site or can raise any issues of customer service or ethics on our site by contacting customerservice@wiseowls.co.uk We will give an advertiser, sponsor or partner the right of reply to any such complaints. If necessary we will appoint our legal arbitrator on the Wise Owls board to decide on appropriate action - including removing the advertising of any organisation, service or product found to be in breach of the law, consumer or equalities legislation or of breaching our code of ethics – with the return of any outstanding money paid for such an advertisement.
However we must state that the responsibility for all advertising and all information provided by independent bodies and advertisers remains their responsibility and we cannot be held responsible for any externally provided advertising or information – but will try to ensure that this does not take place and will act promptly to respond to any relevant complaints.
