Wise Owls is committed to representing the interests of mature workers and the baby boomer generation of 45 – 65s, and in helping overcome ageism in employment and society generally.
As part of this commitment we are expanding our networking and campaigning activities across Europe. We are starting this process by building links with other agencies in countries across the EU who are representing the interests of older workers and unemployed people and / or are trying to research and combat ageism.

We are hoping to expand our contacts to include a representative organisation from every country in the EU and also to have more active organisations from each country involved in campaigning and research into ageism and employment, promotion of the benefits of diversity, equalities and older workers, training, employment and job matching agencies focusing on the older workforce.
We are also interested in building links and cross communications with individuals and organisations globally and have linked with a Japanese organisation with whom we met late in 2004.
